A person holding second class B.Sc. Degree with Chemistry as one of the major subjects is eligible to apply for the admission.
Selection Process: 
Merit on the basis of marks in B.Sc. and Chemistry in B.Sc.

Teaching Methodology: 
In this programme theory courses are being taught by face to face teaching. Teaching of three hours duration per week for sixteeen weeks for each three credit course is offered at the main campus, H-8 Islamabad in the evening (5.00 p.m.to 8.00 p.m). Presence in lectures is compulsory and to appear in the final examination minimum attendance of 70% is required as per AIOU rules. For each 4 credit hours laboratory course a workshop of 20 days duration and for each 6 credit hours laboratory course a workshop of 30 days duration is conducted after completion of theory classes at the Department of Chemistry, AIOU, Main Campus, H-8, Islamabad.
