Certificate of Teaching (CT Arts)
Introduction:
CT programme aims to prepares teachers for teaching at middle school level. It includes the courses related to philosophies and knowledge of middle school age and methodology of teaching different subject at this level. The programme consists of five credits and is spread over two semesters. For successful completion of the programme a student must pass eight half-credit courses and a full credit workshop. Students can opt four half-credit courses or two full-credit courses in a semester.
Following are the criteria for admissions in CT programme:
• All the students who have passed their graduate level examination (BA / B.Sc). • Male candidates who have passed intermediate (FA / F.Sc) obtaining 50% or above marks. • Female candidates who have passed intermediate (FA / F.Sc). • The candidates from FANA / FATA, Bloshistan Province and Azad Kashmir, who have passed intermediate (FA / F.Sc)
Selection Process:
Only those candidates may apply who fulfill the admission criteria otherwise the candidate would not be given admission

Teaching Methodology:
a. Study Material comprises of eight books, one each for the half credit courses. b. The students are required to prepare and submit two written assignments within the given time. c. Tutorial support is provided at the nearest possible places. d. Written examination is held at the end of each semester. e. At the end of second semester a workshop is conducted which includes fourteen days’ teaching sessions and six weeks teaching practice. f. Final lessons of the students are also evaluated by a team of evaluators.
