By keeping the focus on the development of a quality environment in AIOU, Directorate of Quality Enhancement (DQE) is always eager to provide the capacity building opportunities to AIOU employees through trainings/workshops/seminars. The basic purpose of such activities is to broaden the vision of AIOU employees thus, enabling them to deploy the latest innovations in the standardization of the procedures.
Recently, the DQE team organized two-days training on ‘Time Management’ which comprised of two phases. In phase-1, the training was organized for the Faculty Members of AIOU on 28th – 29th January, 2014 at the Academic Complex, AIOU. The basic objective of this training was to empower the academicians with the useful skill of time management so that, the functioning capacity of AIOU can be improved. In this training, three resource persons namely: Ms. Fareeha Habib, Director - Optimizers, Mr. Abid Masood Sandhu, CEO – AMS International and Dr. Afshan Huma, Programme Coordinator (M.Phil-EMP), AIOU, delivered highly useful lectures which were greatly admired by the participants. The Vice Chancellor was also present at the concluding session and he highly appreciated the DQE team for holding this event successfully.
In phase-2, the administrative staff (BPS 14 - 17) of AIOU participated in the two-days training on ‘Time Management’ which was held on 26th – 27th February, 2014 at the Academic Complex, AIOU. About 20 participants from all major administrative departments attended this training. The major purpose was to provide the information about time management skills to the administrative staff so that they can improve their efficiency and emerge as better and productive workers in their respective domains.
Mr. Abid Masood Sandhu, CEO – AMS International, Mr. Saad Babar, Managing Director, The Big Picture and Dr. Afshan Huma, Programme Coordinator (M.Phil-EMP), AIOU were the three resource persons who delivered highly informative lectures during their sessions. Dr. Nomana Anjum, Director (DQE), along with the Consultant (DQE), Dr. Qudsia Rifat appreciated the active invlovement of the participants and ensured that such trainings would be organized frequently to facilitate the AIOU employees to learn different skills related to official procedures.
