Introduction

BEd (4 Years) specialization in Science Education Programme was offered in 2017 and admission is in the elective subjects of biology, chemistry, mathematics and biology with two combinations is being offered in both semesters Spring and Autumn every year since  2017. This programme is being offered for all regions of Pakistan in equity basis. In near future this programme will be offered to overseas students.

Eligibility Criteria

  • FSc /ICS/ Intermediate with subjects which are offered in this Programme.
  •  A level with at least 45% marks or minimum 2nd Division. 
  • Applicants with A levels will submit equivalence certificate

Selection Process

Admission department of the University will go through the process of admission. Applications for admissions are received manually as well as online.

: 4 years (8 semesters)

Semesters

Major portion of Elective Subjects is offered in semesters 5,6,7 & 8.

Workshop

Workshop of each course is carried out for three days face to face or six days online. Workshop is important due to formative assessment component. This formative assessment contributes 30% weightage in summative evaluation/ final examination.

Thesis

Three Credit Hours research project is compulsory for every student.

Practical

All three teaching practice courses are practical in nature. Each elective course of Biology, Chemistry & Physics carry three credit hour course of practical nature.

Viva

Compulsory part for Biology, Chemistry and Physics Practical.

Department of Science Education is liable to collaborate with all regions, Admission Department, Examination Department, Directorate Regional Services, Academic Planning and Course Production, Information and Educational Technology, Information and Communication Technology etc.
