Introduction
With the development of modern business enterprises, the field of accounting and finance has become crucial for ensuring the smooth operations of the business. The BS Accounting & Finance program is designed to educate students on fundamentals and advanced concepts of the accounting and finance. The critical focus of this program will be on developing students’ skills for developing and analyzing the financial information for enabling businesses to compete in this age of globalization.
OBJECTIVES
- To develop student skills for understanding foundational concepts of accounting
- To introduce students with the fundamentals of financial management
- To enhance the students learning in the field of auditing, taxation and banking
- To enrich the analytical skills of students for understanding the role and working of the financial institutions
- To enable students to compete in the modern business finance environment
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates having bachelor B.A/B.Sc/B.Com or equivalent degree (fourteen years of education) with at least 45% marks.
- Candidates having associate degree in non-commerce/business subjects with at least 45% marks.
- Candidates having associate degree in commerce/business subjects with less than 60 credit hours with at least 45% marks.

Semesters
Workshop
The online workshop for each course will comprise of 12 hours, with 2 hours daily for 6 days except for the teaching practice and project as per AIOU policy. Each semester will have a workshop for the courses offered in that particular semester. There will be an online quiz for every course at the end of the workshop.
Assessment Weightage
